How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your CaribGenius account directly from the app:

1. Open the CaribGenius app on your device.
2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Enter your password to confirm.
6. Your account will be permanently deleted.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account, the following actions are taken immediately and cannot be undone:

• Your personal information (name, email, profile) is permanently anonymised.
• Your progress data (quiz attempts, readiness scores, streak history) is removed.
• Your subscription is cancelled. If you purchased through the App Store or Google Play, you must also cancel your subscription in your device settings to stop future charges.
• Your push notification tokens are deleted. You will no longer receive notifications.
• Your login sessions are revoked across all devices.

Important Notes About Subscriptions

Deleting your CaribGenius account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop billing:

• iOS: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > CaribGenius > Cancel.
• Android: Go to Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > CaribGenius > Cancel.

Cannot Access the App?

If you are unable to access the app and need your account deleted, contact us at support@caribgenius.tech with the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 48 hours.

Data Retention

After account deletion, anonymised data is retained for up to 30 days for fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes, after which it is permanently purged. No personally identifiable information is retained.
